78 Days Until Green Turtle Cay’s 2018 Island Roots Heritage Festival

After an election-year hiatus last year, Green Turtle Cay’s award-winning Island Roots Heritage Festival is back!

The festival organizing committee invites you to join us in Green Turtle Cay May 4-6, 2018 for a weekend celebrating our Loyalist roots and our Bahamian cuisine, entertainment, art and culture.

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Island Roots, the committee has launched a brand, spanking new website, which I’d encourage you to check out. Full information about festival entertainers, speakers and events will be posted as soon as it’s finalized.

The Island Roots Heritage Festival offers a great opportunity for Bahamian artists and craftspeople to display and sell their creations. Vendor applications are now being accepted – click here for full details. Space for vendors is limited, so if you’re interested, get your application in today.

If you’re planning to come to Green Turtle Cay for the festival, I’d recommend booking accommodations and golf carts soon, as they do sell out pretty quickly for that weekend.

And, of course, for full information about getting to Green Turtle Cay, and where to stay, eat and play when you get here, Green Turtle Cay 101 will answer all your questions.

Hope to see you in May!
