Blink and You'll Miss It

If I ever zoom by you in my golf cart around dinner time, please don’t be offended that I don’t stop to chat. Chances are, I’ve just realized the time and am rushing to photograph the sunset.

Few things are as spectacular as the vivid hues of a tropical sunset. It’s easy to get addicted to watching (and in my case, photographing) them. No two are ever the same.

Once the sun approaches the horizon, though, it’s amazing how quickly it seems to set. Here’s some video I shot recently on Green Turtle Cay. In less than 60 seconds, the sun disappeared behind the Abaco mainland and was gone. Don’t blink!

Oh, good, Tammi. It’s not just me. 🙂 Is there any better way to end the day than outside, watching the show put on by Mother Nature?
